Learn how to improve and understand caregiver needs. Each virtual session includes a mix of education, interactive exercises, discussions and tools to support caregivers in nurturing their mental health.

Session 2 (Jan. 21): Managing Stress and building resilience - laughter is the best medicine.

Session 3 (Jan. 28): Learning to grieve the losses and move on to the successes.

Session 4 (Feb. 4): Planning for the future.

The Howard County Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee invites you to compete in our 1st Annual Holiday Tree Decorating Contest.  To enter, decorate a holiday tree, snap a photo, give your tree a title, and write a brief description of what this tree means to your community/family/ business.  Then, email your submission to: geshifflett@alz.org by November 11th. 

Voting will be done online through fundraising from November 15th to December 15th.  The tree that raises the most will be our winner.  The winning tree team will receive a fun trophy, filled with lots of surprises and will be theirs to keep until next year!  For more details, click here!

The Village in Howard is celebration 10 years of serving Older Adults in Howard County! We are having a Bull & Oyster Roast with a Silent Auction & Queen Size Quilt Raffle on November 9th.
